INSPIRING MY HIGH SCHOOL ALMA MATER: An Invitation as Guest Speaker at AOSNHS

It's me delivering my inspirational speech to Alberto Olarte Sr. National High School Graduates of 2011
At last the long wait is over. Last  April 1, 2011 i was invited to speak before the graduating class of batch 2011 of Alberto Olarte Sr. National High School. At around 1:39 in the afternoon of the said date I inspired the graduating student through a inspirational message.

The moment I get inside the gym my feet  quivers and feels like I was just dreaming. After eight years now I return to my Alma Mater with all the pride. I was so thankful for the warm welcome of my former teachers and mentors. I owe them all my knowledge and skills even until now. The first teacher of AOSNHS I saw was sir Romulo Sarmiento, he extended a warm welcome to me, then Sir Wayne Caballero followed by Sir Yangga my former PEHM 4 instructor. At the right side a lot of teachers were sitting and so busy instructing the graduating class, after a few moment Sir Policarpio Tidor saw me and smiled to me he was in charge of the program (emcee). Few seconds the teacher in charge sir Obiso my former  Physics teacher saw and nodded me and smiled. A lot of teachers were still there Mamm Aboyot my Filipino teacher, Mam Hermina my Values teacher, Mam Calo my idol teacher since then , Mam Motellano my AP teacher, Maam Digal, Maam Pino and the rest of the new teachers were there.  I was so flattered when I saw my name below the Theme of the year's commencement.

Around few minutes of talking with sir Molong the graduates were requested to go outside for the
processional march. Then the honorable Mayor Jerry Cawah of Balut and Sarangani Island came along with the Barangay Captain of Mabila Hon Biyal and the PTA president. The program flow was very solemn and I could feel the significance of the occasion for the graduates. The parents were all serious and proud in accompanying their sons and daughters for the processional. The time when my name was called by Mam Calo as she was tasked to introduce me I could feel my nervousness runs through my entire veins and nerves  I almost lost for words when my name was mentioned and has to speak to the students.
The graduates at the back then from left to right Maam Heide, Mam Calo, me, Sir Obisio the TIC and Hon Mayor Jerry T. Cawah

I started my speech with a saying "A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals." then I looked at the faces of the graduates all of them were so silent and waiting for another words that come out in my mouth. Along the course of my speech i thanked and mentioned the names of my teachers and of course a wonderful accomplishment done by our Hon. Mayor for  too many projects that very useful to all his constituents of our place including the new built gym. I continued speaking before them until I reached the last part which is the desiderata tagalog version. I in my heart that i inspired them and influenced them to go further in life and pursue their college life the same thing as I did when i was invited also to speak before the graduating class of high school in Ampan B. Nut Memorial institute a private secondary school at Lipol our barangay.

The celebration of the AOSNHS commencement exercises was definitely a memorable to me for the year 2011 since i became a part of their journey and life's history. Thanks to God for being their to me in times of difficulties as I face the battle of my college life. I hope the wonderful moment would always be in their book of memory. I was so thankful to all the people who have witness and listen my speech during the AOSNHS commencement exercises for the year 2011.
