THIS IS MY STORY

THIS IS MY STORY
Episode 1

It was sunset. I was sitting in the small bench watching the small waves smashing the rocks pondering what would my life be after ten years. Summer, after my graduation in high school. I saw  the clouds slowly covers the big orange sun in the south. Tears fall in my eyes because I have no assurance that I could be in college. I walk in the seashore, my feet were drenched by the water. Its coldness runs into my veins that somewhat awakens my senses. Suddenly I could feel a hand tapping at my back its my father’s hand. Perhaps, it was the most memorable day in my life when my father extended his sympathy even he was ill. I know deep  inside his heart he felt sorry for  no matter how he double his effort in finding big amount for me to go in the city for studies yet it was not enough for a huge family like us. We are  six  in the family excluding mama and him and  we  always find it difficult in looking for our daily budget for food and anything that is necessary for our daily needs for we are too many. I could feel my father’s hand and sweet words of encouragement that I should not be discourage because he would find ways regarding my problem. I was so proud that time because I had a father whose very supportive even I know inside my heart he could not make it. That day on, I started to believe in myself that I should be strong and firm for I know that I have a father and a family who would carry me when I am down. Life is so great.  I saw mother in a few distance calling  us for  dinner.

Inside the house, I could see our old pictures, that somewhat pushes me that I have to be optimistic. Mama handed me a glass of water, then a plate with three pieces of potatoes for our dinner. Papa was not able to catch fish because of the bad weather and so we have nothing to  eat but the potatoes that had long been kept by my mother for in case we would experience difficulty in buying rice  then potatoes and cassavas would help us save the three days emptiness. I could see my  two young brothers and sisters seriously eating the potatoes with no question. I stood up and brought the potatoes and a glass of water at the newly fixed bench made  by my father after the  wind  blew  it away last night.  I stared at the plate and hold the small part of it and eat it. My heart ached and said to myself, someday I would not experience such kind of life. I promise I have to be good. I have to find ways on how to reach the city. They said its  good there, there were so many delicious food in the market. They said you can eat anything you want….( Check out the next episode)
